This notice explains how Mohammed Saber Uddin, trading as Deskwell, collects and uses your personal data. Mohammed Saber Uddin is the data controller for the information you give us.
What we collect
- Your name, email, telephone number and delivery and billing addresses.
- Your order history and any messages you send us, including trade account enquiries.
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies.
Our store runs on Shopify, and Shopify processes card payments at checkout. We do not see or store your full card details.
How we use it
- To process and deliver your order. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To handle returns and questions about your order. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep accounting records for six years, as required by law. This is a legal obligation.
- To send marketing emails, only if you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To prevent fraud and keep the shop working properly. This is in our legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
We share your data only with the providers that help us run the shop, including Shopify, our delivery couriers and our accountant. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep accounting and order records for six years, to meet UK tax law. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it to be moved to another provider. Email info.msutrade@gmail.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
