Before you buy

We name materials properly. Solid oak and walnut are solid, not veneered, unless the listing says veneer. Vegan leather is polyurethane on a fabric backing, which wears well and is not leather. Full grain leather is the top layer of the hide and will patina; corrected grain will not. Felt is pressed from recycled PET bottles unless it says wool. Steel is powder coated, and brass is solid brass that will darken unless you polish it. All our timber is finished with a hard wax oil rather than a lacquer, so a scratch can be sanded and re oiled at home instead of being permanent. Cable management works in a chain: gather cables at the source, carry them across the desk in a tray, take them down in one bundled drop, and leave enough slack for a sit stand desk to rise. Most kits fail because the drop is too short, so measure the desk at its highest setting before you buy.
