We name materials properly. Solid oak and walnut are solid, not veneered, unless the listing says veneer. Vegan leather is polyurethane on a fabric backing, which wears well and is not leather. Full grain leather is the top layer of the hide and will patina; corrected grain will not. Felt is pressed from recycled PET bottles unless it says wool. Steel is powder coated, and brass is solid brass that will darken unless you polish it. Every piece has a felt base so it does not mark the desk.
