Solid Oak Wide Monitor Riser for Two Screens

Solid Oak Wide Monitor Riser for Two Screens: a wide riser that carries two screens or a screen and a laptop.

Risers lift the screen to the right height, which is the cheapest posture improvement most people can make, and they give back the space underneath. Each one states its height, its load capacity and the material, and the height ranges are published so you can work out whether it puts your screen where you need it.

Before you buy

A riser is the right height when the top of the screen is at or just below eye level with your head straight. Measure from your desk to your eye line sitting up properly, subtract the height of your screen above its own stand, and that is the riser height you need. All our timber is finished with a hard wax oil rather than a lacquer, so a scratch can be sanded and re oiled at home instead of being permanent. Anything that clamps or screws to a desk states the desk thickness it fits and whether it needs a screw fixing. Adhesive fixings are 3M backed and will lift a laminate finish if you remove them hot, so warm them gently and peel slowly.

Which option to buy

Standard is the size most people buy and the one that suits a 1400 by 800 desk. We select desk things that look like they belong in a room rather than in a stationery cupboard. Every listing gives the real dimensions, the actual material and the tested capacity, and where something is a coated fabric rather than leather or a laminate rather than solid wood, the listing says so in those words.
